Physics is conflicting with my other classes; bio and ochem. So i can't register for either of those otherwise I have to drop classes.

So far I am taking two math classes and physics. That is essentially my schedule the whole year.

I can choose to take both bio 1 and ochem 1 during the summer. Along with a lab or something.

Is this ok? Or should I be trying to get my organic chemistry courses in?

Im a sophomore and all I have completed is; gen chem.
I need to complete: physics, ochem, and bio series.

And I am undecided on engineering or biochemistry, but physics will probably determine whether or not I will be able to succeed.

IMO summer courses are easier but do not set you up for the MCATs like fall/spring semester courses do. You have some time and I would just take ochem and bio together next year. That way you can focus on them when you are done with physics and they will be fresh for when you take the MCATs.

I agree with the first post. I would definitely take organic and bio in a full semester (not summer). Plus, most of what is on the MCAT as far as organic chem goes, you will cover in organic 1. Organic 2 is mostly just reactions, which isn't extremely helpful when it comes to MCAT stuff. And I would definitely take a biochemistry course. A lot of medical students say the biochem (when you're in med school) is a lot easier if you had an intro biochem course in undergrad. Good luck!

Always take premed prereqs during the semester and never during the summer. Other than that, good luck and stay on the straight path of the train.
