My AADSAS application was mailed out on July 31st. I've applied to 15 different schools:

Boston University
Case School of Dental Medicine (CWR)
Columbia University College of Dental Medicine (CUL)
Harvard School of Dental Medicine (HVD)
New York University (NYU)
Tufts University (TUF)
University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA)
University of California, San Francisco (UCSF)
University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey
University of Michigan (MICH)
University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV)
University of Pennsylvania (PENN)
University of Pittsburgh (PITT)
University of Southern California (USC)
University of Washington (WASH)

So far, I have received only one supplemental application from UCSF. Some of the other schools have notified me that they have received my stuff, but I haven't heard a damn thing! Is this a bad sign? Or should I just be more patient? I think my stats and personal statement are good enough...

Mine was mailed out 06/24 and I have received nothing.

I'll start going crazy if I get nothing in a week or two. Maybe call each school and ask whats going on.

are you serious? You applied two weeks ago, many schools are still going through people who were in the first mailing....my best advice is to BE PATIENT!

hey stk, i also submitted 7/31.

from your list ive only heard from BU, NYU, UCSF, columbia. I have not heard from UCLA, pitt, case, michigan, and usc about receiving my AADSAS app.

For UNLV, I believe their supplemental is on their website, just download it, fill it in, mail it out. I think they want you to turn that in as soon as you submitted your AADSAS app. so you can start on that one. I submitted their secondary 2wks ago, and haven't heard back.

Do some schools give everyone a secondary if you have a high enough GPA and have completed the other requirements? or do they actually read your personal statement, evaluate your application and then send you a secondary if they are interested?

It isn't easy to get some secondaries. For example, Mich gives a secondary if you get an interview. Same with many others.
