If you pay them $70 they will tell you the names of these programs. Or you could make up a nice cover letter and mail it to the program director along with your CV to every anesthesia program that you would be interested in attending.

I've call every programs in the US. I found a few. If anyone likes to apply for CA1 in anesthesiology... Rush Univ is looking for one.

any residents know someone in your program drops out, please post.

Illinois Masonic has 1 open spot

Colorado had 1 open spot for CA1

just curious where you heard that - i am from there going some place else just curious about where you came across this. they fired a ca-2 this year i think but i didn't hear about an open ca-1.

AMA website. I've contacted CAMDEN myself and they don't have CA2 level position open.

A lot of places have spots for CA1s. People applied through ERAS and I watched one guy get signed outside the match yesterday. Were you supposed to apply through ERAS?

name a few that have open positions please. I'm applying outside the match.

First off, you're a little late. Second, it looks like a lot of "outside the match" positions are at all sorts of programs accepting CA1s for 2008.

It might be late for this year but I'm looking for July 2007.

Rush University CA1 position no longer available.

Any new updates? Looking for CA1 July 2007.

Hey...keep your chin up. I found a spot too, although I started really early. Just keep looking around. Apply to eras and start calling around to PDs.
