For any who are interested:
Emory just received funding for a new resident. Open to PGY2, or transfers at PGY3 or PGY4 level. Our program director will take the best applicant regardless of class. See the following (correspondence from our program director):
Dear all,
Emory University Department of Dermatology has recently received approval for one additional residency position starting July 1, 2015. We will consider incoming PGY-2 applicants as well as incoming PGY-3 and PGY-4 transfers. Incoming PGY-2 applicants must have completed an internship accepted by the American Board of Dermatology by June 30, 2015 (Preliminary Internal Medicine, Transitional internship, Preliminary Surgery internship, Family Medicine internship, Pediatrics internship, Emergency Medicine internship, or Obstetrics-Gynecology internship). Interested candidates should email their CV, a personal statement, USMLE Step 1 and 2 step scores, direct email/phone contact information for 3 references, and ECFMG certificate (if applicable) to Jamie MacKelfresh at [email protected]. Applicants should be ready to start residency at Emory as of July 1, 2015.
Please share this information with any qualified applicant. Applications will be considered in the next 7-10 days as they are received due to the short time line.
Many thanks,
Jamie MacKelfresh, MD
