Last I checked with the PD, she said they were in the process of offering the position to someone. Not sure if it is a done deal though... Good luck, I'm looking for a position for next July as well.

Does anyone know why a Stanford spot opened up? How's the program these days? I've been hearing rumors about how disgruntled the residents are there. Does anyone have any opinions about Stanford's program. The reviews on scutwork.com seem one-sided.

I am the resident who is leaving the stanford program. I can tell you that the program is indeed intense. However, my class is extremely close. We (all six of us) are best friends, we help each other out and hang out socially. After work we all go out to eat and hang out on the weekends. I am very sad to leave but I am leaving b/c I decided neurology is what i want to do. I am starting UCSD neurology program in july. If you have questions you can PM me.
