operant conditioning is like the skinner's box experiment where there's positive reinforcement of an action done by the mouse. So basically its anything where they're being rewarded or punished.
classical conditioning is the pairing of a normal response with something that normally doesn't cause that response. Like in pavlov's dog, salivating occurs when food is presented. He tested it with a bell and after taking the food away and JUST used the bell, the dog salivated accordingly. So its the formation of a new stimulus to an unconditioned response. 👍
