I asked on the EM thread but thought I'd take a shot here. My mother and I were both dicussing her cracked ribs incident and she recieved T3s for pain. She went on to tell me she never ever got relief from T3 in her life and wondered why. Me too. MS, T3 and plain codeine doesn't work any better than extra strength tylenol.

I heard that some people do not absorb certain opiates very well. I know I get sore and achy all over with all 3. Strange? Any thoughts?

What do you use in this case? Synthtic opiates if the case calls for it?

UPDATE: Seems no one wants to answer my question so I took it upon myself to find out.(from other thread and PCP)
I metabolize it too fast...hence the achy feeling and the rash and the hives. It isn't all a allergy..nor is it a strictly sensitivity issue. Its both. In this case synthetic would unfortunatley be the route to go ...that and nsaids. 😀
