So I took the DAT two days ago and my scores were:
Bio-21
GC-17
OC-21
PAT-20
RC-18
QR-18
TS-20
AA-19

I feel like these scores are respectable, at best. However am planning on a retake as I feel like I could have done way better (I currently have mono and was just way off my game when I took the test).
My GPA is ~3.0 and sGPA is ~3.0. Will be applying spring 2016 so still have an entire year left of about roughly 36 science credits so GPA will be much higher on application. Also have 100+ shadowing hours and plenty of volunteering exp.
Basically, I just want to hear any advice/opinions regarding my DAT scores and overall chance of acceptance next cycle. Anything helpful would be much appreciated! Thanks.

With your GPA, I would say yes.
I was in a similar boat with 3.14 gpa with 19AA 20TS 22PAT (16RC 17QR).
I applied about 15 and received only one interview and got rejected.
If you want to avoid making up your GPA by doing SMP or postbac, I would definitely aim for higher AA and give it a shot.

If you're planning on trying to get in with around a 3.0 gpa I would retake. Hopefully you can pull your GPA up significantly this year! Good luck 🙂
