Im also Canadian and looking to apply to similar schools. From the ADEA guide i can see that Oregon, Kentucky and Louisville, and Creighton didn't enrol and Canadians last year . What did you go off when you were making your list?

I have similar stats and am applying to many of the same schools as you are!

Also a Canadian with similar stats! Applying to many of the same schools as you are.

Cool! Would love to hear about the schools you are applying to and perhaps your stats if you are comfortable sharing 😀

Thank you for your reply, I was going off an old version I believe... will double check list and edit!! Do you have any you suggest I add? 🙂

Just curious---why don't you apply to dental schools in Canada??

I tried to choose a good mix of schools I have a decent chance at as well as some reach schools. And then some in the middle.

Your list looks good too but I'm not too sure about UCLA ,UNC, and MUSC imo. This is just off of this year's ADEA guide though

how about Texas schools?yeeehawww!

Getting in to a Texas dental school from OOS is exceptionally difficult. That goes double for an applicant with completely average stats.
awwwww man!!why cant texas schools be more friendly towards oos?🙁 life isnt fair....

Because it's the law.

Also, why would a TX school accept someone from OOS when they could accept someone from Texas? 😉

how are those schools bad?
In comparison to the other ones
bu where the students live it's not the best area
Nyu and bu housing is going to cost you an arm and a leg
roseman too new. They are changing the curriculum all the time I was told

Thanks, bodmon! Although I'm a Canadian, I've been living in NC for the past 4 years and am getting my PhD at UNC. MUSC is nearby so I decided it's worth a shot. And UCLA is certainly one of my reach schools, but I'd love to go back to California (where I did undergrad) 🙂 You think the rest of my list is ok, though?
oh okay makes sense! I was assuming you were still on Canadian grounds. List looks good, good luck with everything 🙂

I see. NYU and BU is just really open to international students with their large class sizes so I was confused by what you meant.
