There was a recent similar discussion here.
The takeaway seems to be that the individual practice/group is far more important than practice management/GPO that it's affiliated with.
I have no direct information on this, but given that I see significant site-to-site variability in the the three hospital employed/affiliated practices that I do have direct information about, I suspect it's pretty true.
