Just thought I would get a couple opinions on this issue. My parents dog was hit by a car about ten days ago. She had a deep cut to her "wrist" joint (distal radius) and required several stitches. They took an x ray and said nothing was broken. Now almost two weeks later she is still making no attempt to walk on it. I am worried about nerve damage. What does everyone think?

With the information given it is next to impossible to make an educated guess. Being hit by a car covers the whole spectrum of injuries. It could well, and likely is still very sore hence her not wanting to put weight on it. If she seems content and not in pain, I would wait until she has her stitches out.

I just wondered how your parents dog is doing? Is she putting weight on her injured leg yet? Have you taken her back to the vet? What did they say? Hopefully she is doing much better, these things just take time, but it is tought to see your pet not their usual selves - we all can relate to that.
