I still have not heard from my first choice school and I am getting very worried. I was wondering if you think it would be helpful if I sent the school an e-mail expressing my deep interest in attending and the reasons why I would really like to attend. Or do you think am I being annoying, it won't have an affect or it will have a negative affect?

Your opinions are greatly appreciated.

I would wait until after January.

My top choice is Buffalo. Do you think an e-mail like that would be well received there?

I sent out a couple of emails along those same lines. I don't see how it can hurt. As long as you don't send like 10 emails a day.

I sent one to a school as well. However they replied and told me they won't be sending more acceptances until January so it probably doesn't hurt, but don't know that it speeds up the process much either. Good luck.
