I've search but couldn't find the answer to the question. Other threads talk about the process.
So, I am an international student who recently graduated from a US medical school. I was on F-1 and now on OPT for my intern year. My program does sponsor H1-b visas and will be doing one for me. I know I need to take step 3 before applying for H1-b.
However, I do not know when is the ideal time to:
1)take step 3 so that I can have the results for application
2) start putting together my application for the H1-b( or more or less the talk to my PD)
3) when should I file my H1-b application so that I have smooth transition from my OPT to H1-b at the end of intern year.
Thanks.
