Hey guys, I had a quick question about the OptomCAS system. My friend is planning to apply for the entering class of 2012. However, he wants to get his app ready ASAP. Will he have to wait until next year to have his LORs submitted & would his account be deleted after this application cycle ends?

Yeah. You have to wait until the application for that season opens up. So July 2011 for him. Unfortunately any letters written to an account created now will NOT carry over into any subsequent app cycles. But he can always get anhead start by writing everything down! And he still has quite some time before anyone else can get started. So tell him not to worry.
