Hello all!
for people who have been through applying process, when do you recommend finishing and submitting OptomCAS application ?? I am waiting for the letter of recommendations and I will take OAT Aug 20 so have to wait a little after for the grades. I think I have the option to not submit letter of recommendation nor OAT grades and maybe just send them directly to school.. but would that be ok ?? or is it better to just wait and have everything together at once?

I'm currently trying to figure this exact thing out at as well. I'm just so nervous that if I do anything wrong it will ruin my whole application.

Hopefully someone with some background can shed some light on this situation.

Have you entered the names in for your letters of rec? If so, you can submit the application, and it just won't be final until they are all received. You can also submit before your OAT scores are in. Once you take it, you can upload the scores, plus your oat scores will be sent separately to the schools anyway. I would suggest to go ahead and submit as soon as everything on the app is complete. Once schools receive your oat scores they will start contacting you. Also, email the admission department of the schools your applying and ask if sending the unofficial score report you receive the day of the oat will help speed up the process. If you have any other questions feel free to ask!

now I finished got one of the LOR waiting for the rest.. I showed couple of friends my answers to application questions for each school and they both said I need to work on it more :S just waiting to be done with test(Aug 20) to work on it again.. hopefully I am not too late :/

I took my OAT Sept. 5th last year. I started receiving communications from schools around the end of September. Don't freak out if you don't hear right away. Some schools take longer than others. For example, my number one choice was OSU. They were the last school to contact me for a supplemental, and then it took a few weeks after I submitted that to hear about an interview. Nova however sent my supplemental way sooner, and I received an interview just a few days after I sent it in.
Anyway, the process has a lot of variables but you are definitely not too late. I actually think this is a good time to submit because they are in between huge rushes of applications. Good Luck!
