Hello,

Like many students, I am going to be applying tomorrow and believe my stats placeses me at the bottom of the barrel. I was interested in knowing if anyone has heard of someone with similar stats getting an interview or an acceptance.

My Stats:
GPA 3.09
OAT
AA310/TS290
500+ hours volunteering at various hospitals
50+ hours shadowing optometrists.
various other extracurriculars
Worked closely in Lab with one of my science LOR professores.
worked full time throughout college.

With my mediocre stats I am applying to all the newer schools, applying to a total of 11.

You might as well apply, you'll find a surprising number of low-stat applicants on this website who have been accepted with much less experience than yourself. Call admissions committees. They will answer your questions. You are bound to get into at least one of eleven schools.
