how early should you submit your optomcas? and is it true that the earlier you submit it, the better chance you have at getting an interview?

turn it in as soon as you can after when in comes out. july i think. and yes, the sooner you turn it in the better your chances because optometry schools use rolling admission. this means they do not wait for a certain date to decide on everyone. they analyze students immediately after they interview and offer them spots. therefore if you turn it in and thus interview earlier, there will be more seats available and your odds will be better.
