Optometrist Evaluation? Help

This might be kind of a stupid question.
I'm applying to Nova and they require an evaluation from an optometrist with on site visit. Does anyone know if there can be any substitution for this requirement such as an eval from an ophthalmologist?

I wouldn’t think so, because they want to make sure that you know what you are getting into. But you can always contact the school and ask.
