What are my chances at Optometry school?
Overall gpa: 3.0
Science gpa: 2.7-2.8
OAT:
AA - 350
TS - 350
Physics - 310
Chem - 400
Orgo - 360
Bio - 320
Reading - 400
QR - 330
Close to 20-25 hours experience in shadowing.

I think you'll be good. That OAT and your experiences will carry your app. Depending on the school they might ask you to explain your gpa

You are a very strong candidate. I would consider applying to more challenging/reach schools. Even though your science GPA may not be so strong, you can interview and discuss your work ethic, your different major (if applicable and non-science), etc.
Universities also consider where you went to school. A 3.0 GPA from Harvard is much more impressive than a 4.0 from Unknown University.

Agree with previous responses. In general, schools seem to look at OAT as more current knowledge of subject matter and GPA as past knowledge.
