Optometry school pre reqs?

Hey there! I'm currently a freshman in college, and am majoring in Biology. I was just curious about something; do I have to be in the pre-med program to fulfill the requirements for Optometry schools, or can I just take the pre-req courses that specific schools want and be fine with that?

Just take the pre-reqs.

It doesn't matter what your major is (or what program you're in) as long as you have the required classes. Just be sure you check the school's you may be interested in because some require classes that others don't. A&P is one of those.
