Taking the Osler mock orals followed by oral exams next week and before I pack for Boston.......need to act like a female and ask about dress? I assume a suit for the actual orals..... or a tie with no coat? I'm hoping jeans and a tee shirt are acceptable for Osler mock orals????

Definitely professional attire for the orals - suits for men, dress/suits for women. I don't think you need a dress (I saw many in power suits), but perhaps the fairer sex can comment (I really wasn't paying attention to anyone's fashion).

Osler mock orals = wear anything you want.

Good luck!

Wear the same clothes that you would wear for residency interview / job interview. It is not time to "stick out." In fact, I believe more conservative color schemes are important - even more than a residency interview (no bright yellow or white suites). While your answers are critical in the exam, there is no doubt your attitude and personalities also play a role in this test. After all, they are looking to “pass” people who know there stuff and care about helping people (people who will represent the profession well).

In other words, this would not be the best attire in my opinion:
