Whenever it is preceding a vowel, than it becomes AN, when it is a consonant, then it is just A.
example, I will be going to a baseball game. - this is correct
I will be going to an baseball game- this is wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong.
But yeah, I think you should go the first day business casual. Button down shirt, shoes/belt, nice pants.
and you will probably be given protective gear if necessary.
I would call the front desk and ask. Thats what I did.
