So I have made arrangement's to shadow an oral surgery assistant at a oral surgery clinic.

How should I go in dressed being its an oral surgery clinic?

Will I be required to wear protective gear?

example, I will be going to a baseball game. - this is correct

But yeah, I think you should go the first day business casual. Button down shirt, shoes/belt, nice pants.
and you will probably be given protective gear if necessary.
I would call the front desk and ask. Thats what I did.

Why are you shadowing an oral surgeon's assistant, and not the surgeon? You're going to be watching how to hook up a ton of patients, and how to pull out nasty old dressings!

While you are there try and talk to the oral surgeon and then you might be able to start shadowing the oral surgeon.

Make sure you also put down your oral surgeon assistant shadowing on your app.

I volunteered with a couple dental assistants for 120 hours last year and put that time on my application as both shadowing and volunteering.
