CAA manages both Long Beach and Saddleback as separate entities. The Long Beach group is always looking, but this posting appears to be for Saddleback who haven’t had much trouble recruiting in the past.

I'm surprised that their Long Beach arm is always looking. The group is good and Long Beach is a hidden gem spot to live in. Also in the past they had a 2 year partnership buy in which, if I heard right, is now gone - so everyone makes a proper salary from the start?

Seems like the market has caught up to them in terms of compensation/hours worked.

There are partners leaving many private practice entities (and it’s not just this particular place).

The math is very simple in terms of locums and controlling ur own schedule very a more rigid/fixed private practice place even a desirable place making 500-750k with healthy patients like this one.

Lots of call, trauma, OB, sick patients, low pay versus surrounding groups.

Looks like even some of the desirable groups in socal are having to advertise nowadays.

I've even see the mission group put out an ad

If you are new to the area. Yes. It’s unaffordable
But if u live there and moved up over the years it’s not bad.

It’s like Florida where nice doctor homes were 700k-1 million

Now those same nice doctor homes are 1.5 -2 million.

So those LA homes that were 1.5-2 million are now 3-4 million plus. 1.5-2 million was affordable for docs making 500-600k a year especially with 3% interest rates.

Not affordable with 3-4 million price tags and 7% interest rates.
