if OU beats TCU = number one sooners...

Totally made my weekend.

USC is just as over rated as Ohio State.

Leave real football to the SEC.

You mean the SEC which has a loss to UCLA? You know, the UCLA that got whacked by BYU 59-0. You mean the conference that is led by Vandy right now? (no disrespect to Vanderbilt, they've been playing well). And I'm sure "real football" is epitomized by 3-2 victories over Miss. St. by a marque team in the conference...

It's way too early in the season. I don't root for SC, but I'd be a fool to think that they wouldn't be favored to take down anyone from SEC or elsewhere. Their depth chart is nothing but 4-5 stars 3 rows deep. It's pretty disheartening for a fan of parity, but it's a sight to see on the playing field when all pistons are firing.

SEC...maybe...but I think 2008-2009 is (drumrolls)
"BIG 12 RISING"

watch out for OU, Texas, Missouri, Texas Tech to move up this week.

Even Kansas #18 may make a come back after their loss to a respectable south florida.

It's definitely going to be a fun year in the Big12, I'll give you that.

The Big12 and SEC certainly deserve a ton of respect they are the teams to duke it out for the top 3 spots, but this is the year of the non-BCS schools, all those underestimated schools from the WAC and MWC. With Fresno St, Boise St, Utah, BYU, TCU, even UNLV showing some chutzpah, it's definitely time to get 2 teams in the BCS bowls or make it so one team is guaranteed every year! (If a the Weak East and Sorry ACC get a BCS bowl, shouldn't a better conference as well?)
I'll be rooting for Fresno tomorrow in the sure win over UCLA
(I'll be hoping for a close game in TCU vs OU, and hopefully a win for colorado st over cal to make it a 6-0 rout of the pac10)

There goes my last ray of hope for ASU in the Rose Bowl. Without USC in the BCS champ. All hope is lost even if they can pull off wins at USC and CAL. I know I know they were overated and embarrased by both UNLV and Georgia but a guy can still hope..

What a weekend. Oklahoma finally got the respect from the biased polls and espn. 3 of big 12 teams now in the top 5.

Nice showing Big 12
Now they will suffer the same fate as the SEC teams. Every game is big and everyone can win therefore the weaker conferences get represented in the BCS b/c they don't play anyone. Watch USC squeak back into this thing b/c they don't play anyone. OVER RATED!
