organic chem section of DAT

Do we need to know the following organic chem chapters of DAT kaplan blue book: carbohydrates, amino acids peptides and proteins, purification and separation? (Those were the last three chapters)

I would definitely learn them because you never know if it will show up on your exam. However, I didn't have any questions on carbs/proteins/lipids, but I had 2 questions on separation.

Chad's videos is better than Kaplan blue book. Know what he teaches and you will get a good score. I got a 16 on o-chem the first time. After his videos I got a 22. He cuts out what you don't need to know so you don't focus on anything unnecessary.
