I am planning on applying for dental school this upcoming June, and I have been looking at the pre-reqs for dental programs and Nova is the only school that I have looked at in my choices that requires Organic labs. Does anyone know if they are strict on taking the labs, or if it's okay not to take them?

you need labs with all of your science classes. bio, chem, physics

For the majority of schools I plan on applying to they all require labs with the pre-req bio, chem, and physics classes. I don't know about the undergrad you're at but I always loved the labs. I always they were interesting and fun, but it can be tedious sometimes.

Yeah to my knowledge most, if not all, will require you to have lab sections with bio, chem, physics. That does not mean you can't apply until you finish them, but if you get accepted you cannot start the program until completing those labs.

just randomly checked a couple schools, pittsburgh requires only bio labs, so there are some out there that don't require orgo labs.

imo it would be smart to go ahead and take them anyway. most schools require it, your competition will have taken it, etc. don't be a wuss.
