Is a "b" acceptable to med schools or is that too low?

It can be. Some schools view orgo as a litmus test for scientific aptitude. You can show that aptitude through other means as well (other classes, MCAT, research, extracurriculars). So, like everything else, it has to be considered in context.

A B is good for a 2nd or 3rd tier med school, but if you wanna go to Harvard or Yale you will need an A.
