Question 11 in subject test #4.. It says that the answer is D, but I picked E because I think it is a wolff-kishner reduction. Are they wrong with that one.. or is it me?

WK needs hydrazone or something right? i dont have the tests in front of me,just seeing if im right. clemmensen is the one thats just zinc and hcl?

Yup, I dont know if the name is hydrazone, but in the question it uses H2NNH2 and KHO.. and you are right about clemmensen..
 
I made the same mistake. But later I found ou that wolff-kishner works only on ketones and aldehydes. So, D is correct.
