Hey im having difficulty with orgo!! what the best way to approach? i watched chad but when i look in destroyer its a foreign language.(i went through gen chem and that was not bad at all)..the multistep reactions are so difficult. ive decided to reread kaplan and come back to it in a few days ...is it just memorization and are the questions on DAT as difficult as destroyer?

any suggestions???

the Hornback organic chemistry book is my Bible.
during Organic Chem I pretty much memorized it.
I ended up getting A's both semesters and I have literally gotten a 30 on the OChem section of every practice test I have taken.

its a goodie.

I agree with the poster about...if u have time.. Read ur Textbook...I dont know about hornback .... any textbook that you are comfortable reading and have used in the past for Orgo should work just fine...

I was the same when I started studying Orgo but went through the textbook and it help.. I am yet to take practice test or the actual exam so cant say in numbers how much it helped but i am not scared to open the destroyer any more.. if that counts...

Good luck
