Some of us have already been in school for a few weeks and some will be starting soon. How did orientation go for you, and how do you like your class so far? Anybody already studying? Have a good start guys!

I started as a DS1 this year in San Antonio. Orientation started July 1st and actual class started on the 7th.

A month later, we have already finished 3 smaller classes, and have begun Histo, Gross Anatomy, Biochem and Dental Anatomy.

Pretty much in the full swing of things. Studying my buns off already to try and keep pace. Great people in my class...kinda strange being around so many brilliant individuals. Not a single student Ds1-Ds4 has struck me as "lacking." Kind of intimidating/refreshing.

Class kinda blows so far lol. Lots of didactic, not a lot of hands on in this first year. Dissecting a cadaver is kinda neat though. Waxing teeth it tough.
