original dental school transcripts

Hi,
I am dentist from India .when I asked my university for the original dental transcripts to apply for a school here they said they dont have such policy , is there any way I can convince them to give me the original transcripts again?

Perhaps you would have better success if you asked for certified copies of the originals rather than the actual originals . Most universities would likely not let go of the extant originals and many may retain them on media other than paper such as microfilm or disc. Just a thought. Good luck

Certified copies would be more than enough.WHICH UNIVERSITY are you from?coz it may depend on the universities too.Few may give originals, but as far as applying for US schools certified copies would be enough.
