For those in the know, could you list the ortho programs that have a reputation for only accepting residents from in-state, or the surrounding regions? And your basis for the claim (e.g. impression you got during the interview, second-hand information, you actually attend that program, etc...)
A few I've heard are MUSC, Georgia, Iowa, UCLA. Anyone care to comment on these, or add to the list?
