I was checking dental salaries on salary.com and their stat for avg ortho was $124,000. That's not any different from gp. Is there something up with their statistic or have I been delusional for thinking ortho made quite a bit more than gp?
My ortho professor said that some of the ortho chains like apple ortho are offering starting salaries of $250,000. He is a reliable source. But don't go into ortho for the money because you will never be happy. There is more to life than money!!!
