OS interest club

I'm a 3rd year dental student. Thinking about starting an OS interest club. Is this a good idea or is this just going to turn into disaster with a bunch of gunners in one room? There actually is not a single specialty interest club at my entire school, just wondering if there is a reason for this. Wanted to put out some feelers on SDN before approaching administration. Thanks.

I find most third years know what they're in for when it comes to OS. It's gunner bait for sure, but it's inventive when you're talking specialty. You're better off just making friends with everyone. Don't underestimate the power of networking.
