is it worth doing this especially if you want to do AOA residency--or is it worth it to go straight into an AOA residency?

don't do a rotating internship before an AOA residency unless that residency starts as a PGY2. Why do 2 internships on purpose?

Some programs are getting rid of the stand alone internship year in favor of a tracked program ie integrated internship year. This is especially true for primary care specialties.

if you do this though, and you apply to a regular AOA residency--what are the chances they will let you be a PGY-2
