Has Any DO PM&R residents had experiences applying to AOASM(AOA run SPorts medicine fellowship) and How do they regard ACGME PM&R applicant??

I know to take ACGME fellowship boards you have to be ACGME residency Boarded. our last fellow went to a AOA/ACGME dual accredited program but was only boarded by the AOA and is studying for the ACGME PM&R boards now so he can be board eligible for Sports
