I’m relatively interested in ortho/ENT. Regardless of the specialty, I want to match in the Northeast (home for me). I’ve visited OSU and UMass so far.

OSU (~$150k)
Pros:
Most prestige (?) “T30”
Rotations within walking distance
Pre-recorded lectures
College campus with lots of resources
Hospitals are very nice

Cons:
Flight from home
Younger class
P/F but ranked with scored tests and scholarship for upper quartile ($ will prob make me turn into gunner)

UMass (~$130k)
Pros:
Equal to Ohio prestige when it comes to Northeast matches (?) “T50”
New medical school with lots of study space
Curriculum is new and gives a week off after every block
Older class
I live less than 2 hours away and my best friend lives 15 minutes away
Northeast people
Recently received $175 million donation, so is improving a lot

Cons:
Rotation sites can be a significant drive
Hospital is kind of garbage

Temple (~$60k)
Pros:
I get to live in Philly (I like big cities)
Work with more diverse patient population

Cons:
Lowest prestige (but impressive matches with scored step)
Old medical school / curriculum

As someone from NH/MA, I would choose OSU over UMASS. Yeah it's a flight, but a quick flight from Logan to Columbus. Apparently you get scholarship money for good grades at OSU- idk if that's the case at the other two schools. Granted my bias is a.) I interviewed at OSU and not at UMASS, b.) I did not qualify for in-state UMASS tuition, and c.) I prefer larger cities. I would rather live in Columbus over greater Worcester area. But I totally get the support network of MA- worth it's weight in gold. OSU is instant winner in research opportunities and clinical opportunities- has every specialty to my knowledge. UMASS is a tad more primary care focused, but that's great if it's something you are interested in. OSU has the big undergrad campus vibe- some love it, some hate it. Both OSU and UMASS are building new additions to their hospitals and research facilities. Yeah you get diversity and the city vibe at Temple, but the campus/community life is a big drawback and the living situation around the medical school is not great compared to the other two. You'll still get good diversity in Columbus and Worcester.

Current OSU students have said that the scholarship for being in the top quartile isn't large enough to make most people gunners (they said it's like 1-2k, but idk if some people get even more or something)
