OSU or UIC? Advice from current students please

Hello,
I'm having a hard time deciding between the two schools. Can anyone share their current experience there/any opinions? I've thought of pros of each school.

OSU:
easy to become instate however more expensive tuition (i'm from michigan)
ranked higher
medical center
friendly staff- I was very impressed by the interview process
down to earth applicants

UIC:
cheaper tuition
medical district
easier to find work while attending school
more diverse environment

It's all about the Benjamin's. who's cheaper in long run. Plus it's not like UIC is some jank school, it's highly rated as well. I know both cities very well I had an ex who went to OSU. Chicago is better.
