OSU Supplemental Application Help!

Hey everyone,

So, I got an email from OSU 5 days ago saying they received my app and I needed to send 5 things to complete my application. Two were LORs and DAT scores and the other three were the EC and Shadowing forms, and the supplemental app. 4/5 of the items were links, but the supplemental app wasn't. So my questions:

1) Did anyone get any email confirmation after the EC and shadowing forms? Any way to check on the OSU account we set up?

2) Did everyone else not have a link to the supplemental app in their email as well? How are you guys getting the supplemental app?

Thanks so much in advance. I know I've been asking this question around lately, so I figured it's best to ask this in a thread rather than hijack someone else's.

Same thing happened to me. I'm just going to wait it out, I'm sure we will get an email with a link to it.

1) No. I think after we turn in everything, or if something is missing they will email us, but it may take a while. I turned in both and no confirmation email...which was worrisome. No, you can't check on the OSU account you set up, because I have an OSU account and I have no way of checking.
2) The link to the supplemental app comes in a different email...you have to wait awhile before you get that email. Contact OSU if you don't receive it by Wednesday...

Have you received one or two emails from OSU? You get directions on how to open an OSU account in the second email from OSU, regardless of whether you are in state, out of state, or attend OSU.

Does anyone know if the supplemental only get sent out once your application is complete? I submitted the EC/shadowing forms and set up an OSU account. However I am still waiting for my official DAT scores to be sent out because I took it last month and have yet to get any other emails from OSU.

What do you mean? If you submitted your supplemental, I'm sure they have received it...your application itself won't go under review until they receive your official DAT scores. Or, they might review it with unofficial scores? Not sure, but if you submitted your supplemental, they have it i think 🙂

The OSU supp is simple and quick. Some minor one word, pick a box questions. Other than that, there are two questions, of which I believe you may or may not answer. One is career goals etc, the other is special circumstances I believe. Both responses 200 words or less.

Third, mailed out totally complete. Received link to the supp via email on July 20th and had it done later that day.

Hey, OSU sent me an email back on July 9th. I emailed them today and they said to contact professional admissions.

Instead, I just went to osu.edu and signed in with my username and password (you can do that if you get the first email). I found the supplemental app myself and filled it out. It's super simple, only two questions and some background verification. My guess is something went wrong if many people have the same problem. Good luck!
