This forum is great,

but does anybody know any similar forums on non-clinical psychology, or even where to ask?

I do not think they will be specific to subfield, but just in case - I am trying to look into epidemiology (as it is related to mental health/psychiatry).

Have you tried using Google?

Otherwise, there are places like Depression Central that might have links, I think there's a place called something like grohol.com that has a professional forum, and I'm sure there are others.

Google is your best bet, though.
