other useful question sources other than qbank

There is an NMS USMLE review book that is just questions. At least, I'm pretty sure that's the name of it. It's a pretty good source of questions. Good luck, HT.

well I most certainly would not categorize Kaplan Qbank as essential for step II, maybe step I, but certainly not step II, there are plenty of other better question sources out there, anthing that offers one or two liner explanations, and are not indepth, are useless, and that is exactly what Kaplan Qbank is for step II- very general, vague, nondescriptive non updated explanations, USMLE World is much better, and NMS is really good too in my opinion, and the Kaplan Qbook, which you could simply hang out at a Barnes and Nobles book store and read, is one hundred times better than Kraplan Qbank. (nope that is not a spelling error)

sorry i meant to USMLE STEP 1---i should have been more specific--my bad. 😕

Is there a consensus on BSS (Board Simulator Series)? I have read that the questions are not indicative of the USMLE, but people have said that it helps them consolidate information and there seems to be a correlation with those who do well and who used BSS. Is it a good source? If I were to use it, would I use it before Qbank or after?

i'd like to know about BSS too. Additionally, how is the A&L Review book, there are like 1100 q's in there. Is this any bit correlated with the real thing? Just trying to get everything together. Thanks for your guys' input.
