Kind of a silly question, but I recently met an otolaryngologist practicing dermatology. in fact, 99% of his practice is geared toward it. How common is it to see doctors board certified in other specialties practicing dermatology?

I think a lot of family doctors incorporate a lot of derm into their practice, depending on their advertising skills and the area.

Sure any doctor can practice anything... however, when they get sued they probably won't have a leg to stand on.
