OUCOM instant acceptances?

I've heard that some people who interview at OUCOM get accepted that day...was just wondering if this is true and a little more about how that works. I did a search since I'm sure on here is where I heard this but I couldn't really find anything. Thanks in advance 🙂

I am not sure as far as instant acceptancecs. Had a friend last year who interviewed, and she got a call as she was driving home from the interview that she was accepted. So, I have heard of hearing from them that day but not instant.

I got an email acceptance about 2 hours after I walked out of the place. No one called me though 🙁

Wow, does the adcom meet that quickly? Or do they just give you an automatic acceptance if your interview goes well?

Thats the fastest turn around i've ever heard of.

Adcom meets after EVERY interview session and I think there are about 3 per month.

Yes, after some further research (i.e., OUCOM home page, who would've thought 🙂 ) it says that they do meet after each interview day and assign everyone accepted, waitlisted, or declined...The site says you find out the next day so that must be at the very latest. Thanks for the info guys 🙂 Does anyone know any number averages for OUCOM? I have a 3.5 GPA and a 30R MCAT (8 PS, 10 VR, 12 BS).

Most places consider an interview a Rule Out test anyway. If you dont shoot yourself in the foot or threaten anyone, you should probably get accepted 😉

You are about the same as me and I got in, of course I am in state....not sure what you are.

No, no, I'm afraid its not that easy. You have to add water and THEN you boil for three minutes. You didn't really think you could get accepted without at least boiling your application, did you?
