Who do you think will have a greater chance of getting in?

1) Just enough GPA and DAT to land an interview but good interview

or,

2) Good GPA and DAT but below average interview?

We'll assume all the other things are pretty much on par (both OS, US citizen, no major disadvantages, etc etc)

I think #1 will have a greater chance of getting in. Stats will land you the interview, but I think everyone is at a level playing field from that point on.

I think the first one stands a better chance. The interview is kind of the make or break point for borderline applicants (whether they're above or below that border).

during your interview the interviewer will be critiquing you....if you get a certain amount of points during their critique you will be an applicant they will continue to look at after the interview.........from this point they will compare your file with others that were interviewed (ie. personal statement, ECs, etc).......decisions will be made like a job interview with the better apps getting the 'job'
