I graduated from University of Oklahoma. gpa 3.57, i repeated one Molecular Biology class. my mcat is 505. Do you think i have a chance with a texas school? i wanted to send my application today, it's all ready and filled up.

What are your ECs? Which texas schools?

I applied to OOS too. Chances are not good, but if you look on MSAR and compare OOS applicants to OOS accepted from Texas to other OOS schools it really isn't any worse. They get less overall OOS applicants since it is so much extra work just to apply.

If you are not a Texas resident, you are unlikely to have much success barring amazing ECs. The only one where you have a realistic shot is TCOM.

Close to zero. TX is a poor state to try for unless you're a top student.

Texas schools can only accept 10% of their class from OOS -- so 10-20 students per class. And given the very low tuition, there are well over a thousand applicants for those 10-20 seats.

So what is it about your application that makes you so amazing? If you can't come up with a straight-faced good answer to this question, then yeah, your chances are not good.

i applied to all those on tmdsas since it's just 150 for all them. I'm doing some more shadowing/volunteering. I have only shadowed one do in the past and volunteered at two clinics. i have a lot of non-health volunteering though
