I noticed that a lot of out of state pharm schools only list generally the requirements (ie/ the units required for a certain subject). I can't seem to find any direct articulation agreements or anything like that on these sites..only with the California pharm schools.

So how are you guys making sure you have all that is needed? I'm a science major, so I think that I have most of the science pre-reqs down but if a website says they want 3 quarters of English or something...does it matter which English class I take? Can schools articulate classes over the phone?

Thanks!

If the school doesn't set guidelines for each prereq on their website, then it doesn't hurt to contact the admissions office. In general, you can predict which classes fulfill each prereq but there are plenty of exceptions that one may encounter. Your English class, for example, may or may not be hardcore enough to fulfill a requirement.

In general, schools don't have articulation requirements due to the sheer number of variations of each course. A school doesn't want to go through each school's courses.😉 Instead of bound agreements, they'll just set guidelines for the content and depth each of their prereqs require and it's up to the applicant to research whether or not your class fulfills the prereq.
