in addition to that question i called aadsas they said anything with ology gets counted in sci. I said so sociology gets counted they were like yes. Many on here say no. I'm a bit confused. So does sociology, antrhopology and psychology get counted in the sci gpa?

absolutely not, otherwise my science gpa would have been real low. psychology is under the Social/Behavioral Science section -- not counted in the science gpa.

If you major in the subject and the degree they award you is a "B.A.", instead of a "B.S.", then it is not a science. The person you talked to was a poorly paid minimum waged employee who doesn't give a crap about you.

Not true, depends on the school. My undergrad lumped many of the science majors in their largest college, along with all the humanities. So we a lot of got BAs in bio, physics, computer sci etc.
The usual case that AADSAS determines if your course counts toward your science GPA is on the title of the course and what department offered it. If you take a behavioral science course through the psych department, it probably won't count. But if the neurobiology dept offered it, it probably would count. Not the best determining factor, but AADSAS can't be expected to know how every undergrad categorizes their classes.
