I have watched and taken very thorough notes on Chad's OC and GC, and I am finally doing the DAT Destroyer practice problems and at least half of the o-chem questions are kicking my butt! I have finally taken a look at the road maps, and I remember reading how people memorized them, is that worthwhile? I mean there are 6 pretty large ones and then there are the "baby" road maps too...

Are the questions on the real DAT as hard as these destroyer OC questions? Cause if so, then I swear I'm gonna fail that section 🙁

Any tips for getting all the OC reactions figured out? I feel like it's impossible to remember all of the different reagents 🙁.

Don't worry. The DAT destroyer roadmaps are awesome (yet difficult), memorize them! It makes the actual DAT so much easier. Keep chugging along. I was frustrated too just by the sheer amount of info. I got like 20-21's on dat q vault for ochem but after Chad's and DAT destroyer I destroyed OChem on the real deal (forget my actual score for that section, but over 25). Be confident, really, stay confident!!

I thought the reactions on the read DAT were a lot simpler than DAT destroyer.

The way I did it was I wrote one road map a day on my white board and kept reviewing it randomly throughout. Then I cycled through them every other day. They are really helpful.

+1 for memorizing them. I personally used flash cards.

The problems on the DAT Destroyer are a bit harder than the actual test. The first time through I probably got around 35-50% correct. If you can get about 80-85% correct on your second time through you will be fine. GL!

The destroyer ochem questions are way harder than the real one but they are important because they really solidify your knowledge. Make sure that you understand why each of the answers are correct and yours are not if they are wrong.
