I just graduated from college with a degree in French and Economics. I have finally figured out that I want to pursue a career in Physical therapy after volunteering at a physical therapy center for a while.
I am kinda lost as to what course of action I should take to be able to pursue a degree in Physical Therapy. Should I go back to college and get a degree in science or just go to a community college and take all the prerequisites for a program?

Oh my god...definitely CC. An economics degree is a fantastic backup degree by the way. Much better than an exercise science or biology degree (unless youd like to teach like me or do lab work)

Community College. These schools do not care as long as you do in the classes. Plus they are easier.

Plus they are easier.

They're not necessarily easier, but the classes are smaller, the professors are more accessible, and they don't burden you with a bunch of busy work.

I graduated with a BS in geography. I went back to school for two years to get my pre-requisites and now I'm in my second year of PT school. There are people in my class who majored in philosophy, art, business, and the humanities. PT schools like versatile students. I think they get sick of exercise science majors.

Thank you so much 🙂. I am so glad that I could get some good advice from everyone. Just wondering NewTestament, what PT school are you in?
