P/F vs Ranked DS

Any opinions on choosing which type of DS when considering specializing in Ortho later on?

Ortho directors that I've talked to said that Pass/fail students has a higher chance of getting interviews then a person at a ranked school with a low rank. Pass/fail definitely helps, but a person at a P/F must do well on the GRE. Sucks for those at ranked schools who GPA may not put them in the top 20%
